Klar hängt der Platz einer jeden Person davon ab, ob genug Privatboote zusammenkommen, doch da bin ich ganz zuversichtlich. Plan B ist ein Kursschiff, welches eben soviel Spaß machen kann.

Let’s be honest! It’s pretty obvious that if you’re already staying at Lake Constance, you simply have to get out on the water.

Sightseeing
Dieser Aussichtspunkt ist einer meiner Lieblingsspots rund um den Bodensee. Von dort oben hat man einen wundervollen Blick über den Bodensee.

This viewpoint is one of my favorite spots around Lake Constance. From up there, you have a wonderful view over the lake.
If you’re feeling hungry afterwards, I highly recommend the Haltnau, located just below the monument:
Diese Pfahlbauten sind weltberühmt und auch ein Tourismus-Spot. Gerade für Kinder lohnt sich der Ausflug. Schon echt sehenswert!
These pile dwellings are world-famous and a major tourist hotspot. The trip is especially worthwhile for children—it’s truly worth seeing!
Der Gehrenberg Turm ist zugänglich für jeden.
Zumindest bei Tageslicht.
Ich kenne keinen höheren Spot so nahe am Bodensee, den ich empfehlen würde. Eine kleine Wanderung danach im Umland ist ein schönes Add-on.
Das Wirtshaus am Gehrenberg kann ich sehr empfehlen. Kreative und durchweg gute, regionale Küche.

The Gehrenberg Tower is accessible to everyone—at least during daylight hours. I don’t know of any higher spot so close to Lake Constance that I would recommend. A short hike in the surrounding area afterwards is a nice add-on.
I highly recommend the Wirtshaus am Gehrenberg; they serve creative and consistently excellent regional cuisine.

Vom 29.08.2026 bis zum 30.08.2026 ist das Campen im Campingbereich, wie auf dem Bild markiert, möglich.
Bitte stellt euch möglichst so auf, dass eine Mitte entsteht. Hier kann nur autark gecamped werden. Eine Toilette wird aufgestellt.

Eine gute Feier ist immer mit ausreichend Ruhe verbunden. Im Sotz Hof kann man morgens ab 10:00 Uhr sehr gut frühstücken. Bitte macht euch auf den Weg im Laufe des Sonntags und nachdem ihr fahrtüchtig und ausgeschlafen seid.

In Markdorf ist das Parken grundsätzlich sehr bürgerfreundlich, da die Stadt mit dem Konzept „Gratis Parken in ganz Markdorf“ wirbt. Dennoch gibt es Unterschiede bei der erlaubten Parkdauer.
Hier sind die besten Möglichkeiten für längeres Parken:
1. P+R Parkplatz am Bahnhof (Eisenbahnstraße)

Dies ist die beste Option für Pendler oder Reisende, die ihr Auto für einen oder mehrere Tage abstellen möchten.

Für Besuche, die mehrere Stunden dauern, bieten sich die zentralen Tiefgaragen an.

Poststraße 7 Garage: Mit fast 100 Plätzen eine der größten Anlagen. Oft ist das Parken hier (mit Parkscheibe) für einen gewissen Zeitraum kostenlos, aber für echtes „Dauerparken“ über Tage hinweg weniger geeignet als der Bahnhof.

Parkgarage Am Stadtgraben 25: Wird von der PBW betrieben. Hier gibt es oft spezielle Tarife für Dauerparker (insbesondere für Landesbedienstete oder Anwohner), sie ist aber auch öffentlich zugänglich.
3. Wanderparkplätze (Außerhalb des Zentrums)
Wenn Sie das Auto für eine Wanderung oder über das Wochenende abstellen wollen und einen Fußmarsch ins Zentrum nicht scheuen:

Wanderparkplatz Schweppenen: Kostenfrei und ohne strikte zeitliche Begrenzung, ideal für Naturfreunde am Gehrenberg.

Wanderparkplatz Wilhelmshöhe: Ebenfalls ruhig gelegen und meist ohne Parkscheiben-Pflicht.
